New Year...New Us!

I'm going to be super honest with you all. Now, feel free to judge. We're in a happy place where all criticism is good criticism, just don’t be a dick. Ready? Here it goes...

As of a few days ago I have never had my eyebrows done professionally.  Yes...I know! I'll wait for you to pick yourself up off the floor.

But get this, Brandi hasn't either!!!  (Aside from when she got them waxed once and she walked out with a  rash.)  

I'm just giving away all her secrets...keep up on this blog, I'm good at sharing other's secrets.

That being said, Brandi and I decided to take the plunge and try it out.  Before you know it, Brandi told me we were going to Anastasia at Nordstrom.  We had talked about it in passing, but next thing you know she made us an appointment.  I tried to get some background information on the place, because I'm a little nervous...but Brandi was ready to rock and booked our appointment back to back.  Not only did she book our appointment for eyebrows, she set us up with facials at Kate Somerville.

OMG! Too much too soon!!

I mean, facials were new to me too.  I have never been one to purchase lots of face products and I wear minimal makeup.  Here’s to a new me…. I guess?!

Turns out, where has Anastasia been all my life, and facials?  My husband is so happy I walked out spending a few hundred dollars!  HA!  Shout out to Roxanne.  She was a doll and hooked us up with our eyebrows.  You let me know if you need her info.  

(P.S. Brandi still left with a small rash, but now has some kick-ass-arched eyebrows.)

Facial was wonderful, and I can only imagine what a facial at a spa would feel like.  Next on my list!

So far I cannot say enough good things about her products.  Our facial was called the Oxygen Facial.  Still not sure what that means, but it felt nice and I have never felt such a soft face.  I picked up some products… Duh!  I bought her daily facial cleanser that smells so good.  Only organic natural ingredients in all of her products.  I also got her exfoliator, de-puffing eye cream, and moisturizer.  So far so good and I love them.

To date, still doing my eyebrows every day and using my face products daily too!  Randy always gives me "the look" whenever I decide I am going to do MORE in the morning before work, because I procrastinate getting ready as it is.  But damn, if my kid would just let me sleep in longer, life would be great!  How about no 5:30 a.m. wake-up call EVERY DAY….  Ugh…  But I digress…..
